Stories in Motion – A new Erasmus+ Project

We are excited to announce the launch of “Stories in Motion” a collaborative effort between Cospicua Primary School, Zabbar Primary School B, an Italian school in Ascoli Piceno, and a Spanish school in Seville. This two-year initiative, funded under the Erasmus+ programme, focuses on enhancing digital and intercultural competences, fostering creativity, and celebrating diversity.

“Stories in Motion” harnesses the power of stop motion animation as a pedagogical tool to create awareness about responsible digital technology use and cultural understanding. Through teacher training and student-led projects, the project aims to develop both educators’ and students’ digital competences while promoting active European citizenship.

The project will kick off with an upcoming meeting in Malta, scheduled for mid-November, where project partners will set the foundation for this exciting journey. Stop motion animation, a technique where objects are painstakingly moved and photographed frame by frame, will be the driving force behind the project, encouraging creativity and innovative thinking.

By creating engaging stop motion animations and sharing them across partner schools, “Stories in Motion” intends to initiate dialogue and foster an intercultural perspective. The project will not only enhance the communication skills of students but also promote responsible use of digital technologies and encourage collaboration among the participating schools.
