Children\u2019s creativity and innovative traits were pushed to the limits by encouraging them to build things never seen before. Finished products had to make sense but not necessarily work. \u00a0The project supported children to\u00a0&#8220;develop an inquiry-based approach to finding out facts by observing, exploring and investigating\u201d <\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">(NCF, 2012, p. 53).\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After a series of preparatory lessons, children were shown a\u00a0short introductory video of a pilot group illustrating the different steps of the project. Children had to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>looking at the resources available,<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">design\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">and sketch a project idea,<\/span><\/li>\n<li>draw up a written list of resources required,<\/li>\n<li>buy the resources using allotted money<\/li>\n<li>build and log steps in written form,<\/li>\n<li>test the project
