<\/p>\nSchool Council election in all State School will be held in January 2015.The results of these elections will determine the composition of the School Council for the period between January 2015 and December 2016.<\/p>\n
School Councils at the Primary and Secondary Level are made up of\u00a0 a President, the Headof School, three parents\u00a0 and three teachers. Both parents\u00a0 and teachers are elected, the former by parents\/guardians of\u00a0 students and the latter by the schools teaching staff.<\/p>\n
The role of these Councils is not limited to fund raising\u00a0\u00a0but to\u00a0actively seek to\u00a0make the school experience\u00a0better.<\/p>\n
Parents are encouraged to\u00a0 use their right of \u00a0contesting and to vote in the forthcoming School Council elections.<\/p>\n
