As students transition from primary to middle school they are often faced with social, emotional and physiological changes that can impact on their wellbeing and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\u0121enzija \u017bg\u0127a\u017cag\u0127 is offering an online course that can help facilitate a smoother transition from one school to another. The course was designed specifically to be fun and interactive while catering for the needs of these students and to provide the necessary life skills through which students can maintain their wellbeing and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Next School Adventure targets students who have just finished Year 6 and will be starting Year 7 next September. The programme consists of 8 sessions of 1.5 hours each, aimed to give space to students to equip themselves with life skills that are considered important for a successful transition to their 2 years of middle school. The sessions will provide an opportunity to students to explore their personal skills, look at effective ways to express their views in class, discovering their learning styles, working with fellow students effectively, learning to be active students, dealing with conflict and getting support from school and how to manage time both at school and home. We will be visiting these themes through fun and interactive activities and at the end of the course students will be given a certificate of participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiple sessions at different times are available. The number of students in each group will be kept to a minimum to ensure individual attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
