With a pandemic raging around the world, there is no point in pretending that Christmas at school this year is going to be the same. But, we still intend to make it special for our children. There are 15 school days in December before we break up for the Christmas holidays. As we have done in previous years, we will do something special every day, while taking all the necessary precautions because of COVID-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most of these activities will be carried out at school but feel free to join in the fun at home! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s what we will be doing – <\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 December \u2013 Learn about Christmas traditions in Malta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 December \u2013 Christmas Craft Day. Children will create a Christmas craft in class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3 December \u2013 Learn Christmas legends from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4 December \u2013 Christmas Crazy Hair Day! Oh what fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7 December \u2013 Bring cat or dog food for animal shelters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
9 December \u2013 Make a Christmas mask. Children will make a Christmas mask in class. At home parents can take a picture and upload it on this padlet<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10 December \u2013 Write a message for the elderly in care homes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 11 December \u2013 Pyjama Day <\/p>\n\n\n\n 14 December \u2013 Learn how Christmas is celebrated around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 15 December \u2013 Learn how to wish Merry Christmas in at least 5 different languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 16 December \u2013 Listen to traditional Christmas carols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 17 December \u2013 Bring food for the needy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 18 December \u2013 Crazy Christmas.
