In view of public demand, the National Literacy Agency is extending the scheme \u2018Read at Home\u2019 to all 3 to 16 year-old students. All Primary, Middle and Secondary school students will now have the opportunity to borrow and enjoy reading books at home. In this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the \u2018Read at Home\u2019 scheme will help students to find even more comfort in books. Every student can borrow up to 6 books, three in Maltese and three in English from age-appropriate catalogues. You can find these catalogues by clicking on this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parents\/Legal guardians who would like their children to benefit from this initiative may send the application form by email to marouska.falzon-cutajar@gov.mt or by calling on 25983304. Books will be posted or delivered free of charge in an appropriate envelope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Books can be kept up to a maximium of 5 weeks and are to be returned to one of our Book Return Boxes in the same envelope that they were received in. In Malta, the Book Return Box is located outside the National Literacy Agency Building on Joseph Abela Scolaro Street, \u0126amrun, \u0126MR 1304.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
