Our school is currently engaged in several Erasmus+ projects amongst which is the project entitled Dare to Be Different – Creative Drama in Education. Together with our partners in Greece, Serbia and Turkey, the project aims to develop critical thinking skills, enabling students to tackle different issues in a constructive and creative manner while fostering respect for diversity. The project addresses the development of competences across the curriculum, including the development of language and communication skills, problem solving, creativity, positive self-concept, empathy and social awareness. Teachers have been developing and sharing lessons in various subjects that include creative drama techniques, enhancing the teaching and learning process. Each partner school is also developing short plays with a powerful messages about current issues impacting our societies. Creative drama techniques are also being used during staff meetings!
