With a pandemic raging around the world, there is no point in pretending that Christmas at school this year is going to be the same. But, we still intend to make it special for our children. There are 15 school days in December before we break up for the Christmas holidays. As we have done in previous years, we will do something special every day, while taking all the necessary precautions because of COVID-19.

Most of these activities will be carried out at school but feel free to join in the fun at home!

Here’s what we will be doing –

1 December – Learn about Christmas traditions in Malta.

2 December – Christmas Craft Day. Children will create a Christmas craft in class.

3 December – Learn Christmas legends from around the world.

4 December – Christmas Crazy Hair Day! Oh what fun!

7 December – Bring cat or dog food for animal shelters.

9 December – Make a Christmas mask. Children will make a Christmas mask in class. At home parents can take a picture and upload it on this padlet.

10 December – Write a message for the elderly in care homes.

11 December – Pyjama Day

14 December – Learn how Christmas is celebrated around the world.

15 December – Learn how to wish Merry Christmas in at least 5 different languages.

16 December – Listen to traditional Christmas carols.

17 December – Bring food for the needy.

18 December – Crazy Christmas. Wear something Christmassy and funky!

21 December – Christmas Story Day

22 December – Christmas Film Day/Casual Day
