Students in Year 6 recently participated in a comic strip competition about “Democracy and human rights at school”. Out of the various entries submitted for this competition, 2 have now been short-listed at a European level and the general public is invited to vote for the best entry.
The winning projects will receive media visibility and on-line exposure on the Internet sites of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and the partners in many networks. The top ten entries will be celebrated as a contribution to citizenship and human rights education and will serve as inspiration for one or several short-film(s)/animation(s) which will be commissioned afterwards.
The entries from our school are entry number 22 and 49 by Kaya Marie Ellul and Jake Degiorgio respectively.
